The great MOVE!

Eddie and I moved to Cocoa Beach almost 2 years ago. We both grew up in Lake County and moved to MS soon after we were married. When we found out we would be moving to Cocoa Beach, we were both ecstatic. We were 8 hours away from family in MS. Living in Cocoa Beach meant we would only be a measly 2 hours away. Soon after we moved 2 hours seemed like 8. I loved it there. Going to the beach whenever I want... ~sigh~ priceless! Well- It was good while it lasted! We have moved to Lake County! Now we are only be 10 minutes away from our families. There are so many things I am going to miss about Brevard.
We lived in the best condo complex around.. In my humble opinion. Not only did we have the best neighbors in the world, but The River was practically in our back yard.. Ok, well... You did have to walk to it, but it was so beautiful. I walked to the river a lot when I was pregnant with Brienna. It was the only way to get my mind off the nausea. The view could take your mind off of almost anything.

.
Not only was I spoiled by fantastic views and being minutes from the beach. I was also minutes from The Avenues. Brienna and I would go just to walk around. She loved it to! Thursday nights there would usually be some band playing by the fountain and a farmers market during the day. Everything was at my fingertips here. Starbucks, Panera, Moes, Bed Bath & Beyond, Gap... Oh was I spoiled!

Now there is only one thing that can top off all of my spoiling from the Avenues. I have devoted a whole blog board to it. COLD STONE CREAMERY!

My, my, my... A girl couldn't ask for more. I can't tell you how much I miss this place. The smell of ice-cream as you walk in the door, homemade waffle cones, and all the mix in's you can handle.. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Now I've got to drive almost all the way to Orlando to enjoy one of these frozen treats. Oh well, maybe it will help keep this weight off.

Now- there is one thing that I don't miss... Being away from our families. Taking vacation time to come home for the holidays is no fun at all! We are so happy to be this close to everyone. We are on our way to building stronger relationships and making many memories. Just to watch my nieces, nephews and cousins as they grow up is such a blessing. I've missed out on so many milestones.. We are here to stay!

We've moved 6 times in the past 5 years. From rentals, to homes we bought, and from out of state to different cities. There will always be a part of my heart, in the places we've been. We have met so many amazing people, and lived in places rich in culture. In those time I believe Eddie and I have grown so close. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I am sad to have left so many great friends, and beautiful places. However, this is where our hearts are, and have always been. To watch Brienna as she get to know her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents. To know her heritage is what it is all about for us.
